High Octane


 

As with all our pedals, the High Octane was designed with clarity, response and versatility in mind. The goal for this pedal was to produce a rich, complex low gain overdrive in a minimalistic, simple package with lots of output. The tone is smooth and full bodied yet crisp and clear, highly responsive to player dynamics, pick attack and guitar output; as such, it cleans very well up as you reduce your guitar's volume.

The pedal’s gain range goes from a natural clean boost to a gritty low to medium gain OD with single coils and from a dirty boost to a medium gain OD using humbuckers or higher output single coils. If more distortion is required, simply put one of our fine boosters before the High Octane and dial in as much layered, creamy saturation you desire! Finally, no SolidGoldFX pedal is complete without a filtered 2.1mm DC input, true bypass switching and a super bright 5mm LED!
